About The Book

The Gita is replete with spiritual wisdom. However, it does not appeal to many people, especially children, who fail to understand the meaning and essence of its shlokas. This book strives to get across the meaning of key shlokas from the Gita by presenting them with appropriate stories. The stories have been carefully selected from ancient scriptures, Puranas, epics, and folklore, and are accompanied by eye-catching illustrations. ‘Bhakti – Devotion’ is the first book of the series titled Gita Wisdom Tales, which comprises five books in all.

About Gauranga Darshan Das

Gauranga Darshan Das (www.gaurangadarshan.com) is an educator and a spiritual author of over 30 books. He holds a Master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He is a resident monk at ISKCON Govardhan Ecovillage (GEV), and the Dean of the Bhaktivedanta Vidyapitha, a school of spiritual studies.

He regularly delivers online and residential discourses for children and adults, in various forums including temples, ashrams, schools, colleges, and corporate events. He is a regular speaker on Hare Krsna TV. He has conducted over 40 online courses (www.vidyapitha.in), and has lectured over 7000 hours. He travels across India and abroad, to teach and inspire seekers.

He runs a monthly ezine called ‘Bhagavata Pradipika’ whilst penning thought-inspiring articles for international and Indian Back To Godhead Magazines.
