Harini Chakrapani is an Ooty - born, Chennai-bred, Dubai and New York-based writer who also likes to call herself a nomad. Her love for words began when she heard her English teacher use the word perilous and went on to write her first story titled A Perilous Vacation. Her resume includes a degree in Tourism Management from Ethiraj College, Chennai, and a stint in journalism with celebrity and lifestyle magazines, Masala! and Pose Dubai. Currently, she's a student at the City University of New York's Graduate School of Journalism.
