About The Book

A Wish by young poetess Vani Shriya is a collection of thirty-two poems in varying poetic metres that explores a world refracted through her mind. Poetry is used as a medium by her to let others experience the emotions that she feels and to use people's experiences to articulate her thoughts. A book of regrets and chances, happiness and sorrow, A Wish is also a tale of hope and belief, the tale of a wish now granted.

About Vani Shriya

Vani Shriya is an 18-year-old Business Management student at Singapore Management University. Originally from Delhi, India, she graduated from Vasant Valley School in 2012. Fond of writing and the performing arts, especially singing, Vani has been a part of A Capella groups in both school and college. An avid reader, she has won several poetry-writing competitions. She started writing poetry when she was barely six years old. A Wish is a collection of her poems written over the last four years. Currently, she lives in Singapore.
