Alok Ranjan

Alok Ranjan completed his B.A. (Hons) in economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. Thereafter, he did his MBA from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA).Before retiring as chief secretary to the government of Uttar Pradesh, he had a long 38-year career with the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), having joined in 1978.He is an acclaimed thought leader and public speaker and takes regular sessions on leadership and management at IIM Lucknow and Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow. He has also been speaking regularly on leadership, public policy and good governance at the National Centre for Good Governance and other administrative training institutes.
