George Samuel Clason

A soldier, a writer and a businessman, George Samuel Clason lived for 82 years, during which he also served in the United States Army at the time of the Spanish-American War (1898). He also started two companies: The Clason Map Company of Denver Colorado and Clason Publishing Company. He wrote a series of informational pamphlets dispensing advice on money management and achieving financial success. His most famous lessons were compiled in The Richest Man in Babylon. He earned worldwide recognition for his parables. He died in 1957.
