Madhureeta Anand

Madhureeta Anand is a multifaceted author, entrepreneur, film-maker and activist. Her films have garnered both national and international recognition, winning prestigious awards such as the Silver Conch at the Mumbai International Film Festival and the Best Foreign Film award at the Xian Film Festival in China. In addition to her cinematic achievements, Madhureeta contributes to various websites and magazines, and her writings are featured in the anthologies ‘Search for Sita’ and ‘Finding Radha’. As an advocate for women’s and children’s rights, she founded Phree for Safety, a globally available mobile application dedicated to women’s safety.
