Berjis Desai

Berjis Desai, an eminent lawyer and a best-selling author, studied at Cambridge and Mumbai. He also worked as a journalist with a reputable Gujarati daily. Desai retired as the managing partner of one of India’s leading law firms. His books Oh! Those Parsis and The Bawaji have both have received critical acclaim. His debut novel, Towers of Silence was published in 2021, and his crime thriller, Murder at the Racecourse, in 2024. Berjis has been called “the benign blend of Oscar Wilde and George Bernard Shaw who makes satire look so delicious in all his writing”.
