J.M. Barrie

J.M. Barrie (1860–1937) was a Scottish novelist and playwright best known for creating Peter Pan, the boy who wouldn’t grow up. Born in Kirriemuir, Scotland, Barrie was inspired by his friendship with the Llewelyn Davies family, whose children served as the inspiration for the Lost Boys. A celebrated writer in his time, Barrie’s works capture the innocence and wonder of childhood.
