Shazia Omar

Shazia Omar is a writer of both story and spirit. She is the author of the novels Like a Diamond in the Sky and Dark Diamond, as well as the mind-body-spirit guide Intentional Smile: A Girl’s Guide to Positive Living. She has also curated two anthologies of short fiction by Bangladeshi writers—What the Ink and Golden: Bangladesh at 50—and written two children’s books, Sun Moon Secret and Rani’s Seashell Necklace. She writes the column ‘Kundalini Rising’ for The Daily Star.
