“That’s right, keep loving everyone—but don’t kill yourself, my girl,” I said, digging into the sinful slice of cake before me. Life, after all, is just like this dessert—less sugar, more nuts. Hi, I’m Sheetal. I live in South Delhi. I’m rich—and so are my girlfriends. We’re five women trying to hold it together behind a picture-perfect façade, balancing our glossy lives with messy emotions. Think of us as a perfect cocktail: spicy, tangy, sweet, and oh-so-unpredictable. Sonia, Simi, Rashi, and Maya—my partners in crime and in spirituality. Between yoga sessions and spiritual retreats, we hope to wash away our secrets and scandals. Each of us craves something—love, sex, or just a semblance of peace at home. But beneath the shimmer of our luxurious lives lies deceit, desire, death, and drama. Who among us will survive the blows of fate—and who will fall to Karma, that ultimate bitch? Can we ever truly forgive, forget, and move on?
