Kanika (1899), meaning ‘small particles’, consists of jewel-like aphoristic poems—witty, incisive, and deceptively simple. In just a few lines, they compress moral insight, humour, and philosophical reflection, affirming Tagore’s belief that the infinite resides within the finite.
